The AIM Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism will hold a forum entitled "Emerging Trends in Digital Travel and Its Impact on Tourism Buyer Behavior" at the G/F Meralco Caseroom, Eugenio Lopez Building, Asian Institute of Management.

The forum will focus on mobile technology and how marketers need to adapt their approach to fit in with the new face of the digital space and the popularity of tourism mobile apps on smartphones and how it plays an increasingly key role in defining the user expectations on travel planning, experiencing and sharing.

Moreover, it will look at the insights of the top players in the realm of travel mobile apps, airline operations, marketing research firms and academic research community.

The conference will feature discussions of the different industry experts: Mr. Deo Landicho, Digital Solutions Manager of Yahoo! Philippines, Mr. Galex Cabrera, the Philippine Head for TNS Technology and Brand and Communications sectors and Mr. Nooky Umali, Mobile Apps and API Innovation Program Technology and Innovation Support Services of SMART Communications Inc.
