ALT-CFT and DLSU-CBRD co-organize a Case Writeshop
The Asian Institute of Management – Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism and the De La Salle University – Center for Business Research and Development enter into a joint undertaking to co-organize the AIM-DLSU Case Writing Workshop for the faculties and researchers of the Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business (RVRCOB) and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). The Workshop is composed of a one-day case writing seminar (Workshop 1), a one-day case writeshop (Workshop 2), and a public presentation of the cases produced.
The Workshop will focus on enhancing research network building amongst faculty and research scholars; and forge collaborative research among its participants. The case writeshop (Workshop 2) will be facilitated by Prof. Fernando Y. Roxas, Executive Director of the Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism scheduled on 15 May 2015 at the Asian Institute of Management. Participants are expected to have a case study in mind or a preliminary case outline or draft to facilitate the writeshop.
At the end of the writeshop, the participants are expected to be equipped with the following skills:
- writing a teaching note
- creating a structured case plan
- improving case drafts for an eventual publication in a case journal
The case writeshop (Workshop 2) will be followed by a public presentation of cases successfully produced and cleared. It is tentatively scheduled on August 2015. It is expected that those who attended Workshop 1 will also attend Workshop 2. Participants are expected to have a case study in mind or a preliminary case outline or draft to facilitate the writeshop.
