ALT-CFT and DLSU-CBRD co-organize a Case Writing Workshop
The Asian Institute of Management – Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism and the De La Salle University – Center for Business Research and Development enter into a joint undertaking to co-organize the AIM-DLSU Case Writing Workshop for the faculties and researchers of the Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business (RVRCOB) and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). The Workshop is composed of a one-day case writing seminar, a one-day case writeshop, and a public presentation of the cases produced.
The Workshop will focus on enhancing research network building amongst faculty and research scholars; and forge collaborative research among its participants. The case writing seminar (Workshop 1) will be conducted by Prof. Fernando Y. Roxas, Executive Director of the Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism scheduled on 20 March 2015 at De La Salle University.
At the end of the workshop, the participants are expected to be equipped with the following skills:
- using a teaching case
- writing a teaching case
- understanding the basics of a multimedia case
- writing a teaching note
The case writings seminar will be followed by a case writeshop (Workshop 2). It is expected that those who attended the Workshop 1 will also attend Workshop 2. This is tentatively scheduled on April 2015/May 2015 at the Asian Institute of Management.
The case studies produced from Worshop 1 and Workshop 2 will be showcased in a public presentation tentatively scheduled on August 2015.
