Showcasing the Center for Tourism's research competence
15 April 2015 | Soriano Room, Asian Institute of Management
Last 15 April 2015, all the Centers of Excellence of the Asian Institute of Management showcased their recent activities and medium-term plans. This showcase was organized to help faculty to decide which Center(s) they would want to align themselves in terms of research and other projects. This Center showcase was held at the Soriano Room of the Asian Institute of Management.
Prof. Fernando Y. Roxas, Executive Director of the Dr. Andrew L. Tan Center for Tourism (ALT-CFT), took the lead promoting the Center for Tourism to the faculty by inviting them to participate in the flagship programs of the Center – research, publications, and the sustainable tourism program. Dr. John Paolo R. Rivera, Program Manager of the ALT-CFT, presented the achievements and research plan of the Center, while Ms. Maria Cristina M. Aguilar, Program Coordinator of the ALT-CFT took charge of exhibiting the various research collaterals of the Center.
It was indeed a successful showcase. Faculties were able to see the various activities each Center is engaged with. This would facilitate improved synergy among the Centers, which would open doors for collaboration and more research.
The ALT-CFT would like to thank the entire Brand Management team lead by Mr. Elmer Harold O. Grande for the booth columns, the Alumni Relations Office lead by Mr. Bernardino J. Jiao for the copies of AIM Leader magazine featuring Dr. Andrew L. Tan, and the Department of Tourism for the posters and other marketing collaterals.
