The Missing Puzzle Piece in Philippine Tourism

Imagine yourself presenting a seemingly accomplished Philippine map jigsaw puzzle to a friend, when you suddenly realize that a few interlocking pieces went missing. It turned out that the puzzle you are trying to showcase is incomplete. Applying this rhetoric in the puzzle of developing sustainable tourism in the Philippines, the country seems to lack a few more pieces to successfully set forth what the Philippines has to offer to the world. While the Philippines, as an archipelagic country, has been primarily focused on promoting its pristine sights, vibrant festivities, and rich biodiversity, there may be another tourism product which can be put forward to complete the puzzle of establishing a sustainable tourism in the Philippines, that is food tourism.
